Reconnect, unplugged at Payne’s Hut, an Australian-styled experience situated in the upper reaches of the Mitta Mitta River in an area known as Shannonvale or Glen Valley.
Three accommodation areas are available, all with crisp linens and delightful features. The Hut, the Barn East and West wing rooms, each with ensuites, are all $180 per night including breakfast and tea and coffee whenever you wish.
Phone Payne’s Hut to book your stay on 03 5159 7255 and internationally +61 3 5159 7255.
Meals can be provided too or you can cook for yourself. More information and relevant surcharges are available here.
Your Hosts Tess and Graham Payne have based their business on a 5 heart principle:
Payne’s Hut is north of Omeo, past the Blue Duck as you head north or ‘over the other side’ of Falls Creek and Mount Hotham for snow lovers, or south east of Albury-Wodonga.
Meals are available on request (we recommend that we cook for you on the night you arrive after your journey) and the kitchen is fully equipped should you wish to cook for yourself.
Payne’s Hut is BYO with a small bar stocked with local wines.
The property is yours to explore and to luxuriate in.
Payne’s Hut can also be your base for exploring the High Plains. Enjoy hearing about the local area. Go fishing, walk and enjoy a packed lunch. Read a book in the garden.
Payne’s Hut conducts team building experiences for organisations with accommodation for up to 20 people in the local area.
As we’re remote, phone bookings are the quickest on 03 5159 7255 and international: +61 3 5159 7255.
